Seedling Course: Lesson 3

In this course we will cover the life of plants. How they grow, function, and adapt. Essentially we’re learning about their behavior and motivations. Looking deep within to their anatomy and physiology, to folkloric history and personalities you will get a clear picture of how the plant has developed. Blending science and culture, we will indicate a plant’s uses medicinally and spiritually. Just like with people, every plant has a story, a journey, and it needs to be understood to be utilized effectively. This knowledge has enabled students to better remember medicinal qualities of each plant, helping them to make greater matches between client and herbs for specific purposes. This work is not just prescribing a basic remedy for a symptom. We are not treating the symptom a person has, rather the person who has the symptom. We are creating relationships between plants and people.
